Dubai gold prices surged to a new all-time high on Monday morning, with 24-karat gold crossing the AED 405 mark per gram, reflecting growing global demand amid economic uncertainty.
According to the Dubai Jewellery Group, 24K gold was priced at AED 405.25 per gram, while 22K traded at AED 375.25. The 21K and 18K variants were selling at AED 360.00 and AED 308.50 per gram, respectively.
The price spike follows a sharp rally in Asian markets, where gold reached an unprecedented $3,370.17 per ounce. Analysts link the surge to renewed investor caution after U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks targeting the Federal Reserve and growing concerns over potential tariffs shook financial markets.
