Authorities in Umm Al Quwain have confiscated several vehicles after drivers were caught engaging in reckless behavior along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
The Umm Al Quwain Police General Command confirmed the seizures, saying the motorists endangered the safety of others and violated traffic regulations.
Colonel Ahmed Rashid Al Mazrouei, who heads the Traffic and Patrols Department, stated that the force maintains a zero-tolerance stance against traffic violations that put lives at risk. He warned that legal action will be taken swiftly against offenders.
Captain Jassim Sultan, Director of the Traffic Follow-up and Control Branch, added that the vehicle seizures form part of a wider campaign to enforce traffic laws and improve road safety. He urged all motorists to drive responsibly and respect the rules to ensure public safety.
