The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai have released the results of the 2025 overseas absentee voting for the senatorial race, with Bong Go emerging as the top choice among Filipino voters in the UAE.
Go secured the most votes, receiving 27,459 (7.45%), followed closely by Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa with 26,047 votes (7.06%) and Rodante Marcoleta with 25,161 votes (6.83%).
Rounding out the Top 12 were:
Jimmy Bondoc – 19,744 votes (5.35%)
Atty. Vic Rodriguez – 18,432 votes (5%)
Raul Lambino – 17,555 votes (4.76%)
Jayvee Hinlo – 16,679 votes (4.52%)
Phillip Salvador – 13,886 votes (3.77%)
Doc Marites Mata – 13,366 votes (3.63%)
Apollo Quiboloy – 12,643 votes (3.43%)
Gringo Honasan – 12,562 votes (3.41%)
Imee Marcos – 10,937 votes (2.97%)
In the party-list category, Duterte Youth secured the highest number of votes.
The UAE, with 189,892 registered Filipino voters, saw a voter turnout of 37,976, comprising 13,234 voters from Abu Dhabi and 24,742 from Dubai. The overseas absentee voting was conducted online via the Commission on Elections (COMELEC)’s official platform, allowing Filipinos abroad to participate in the midterm elections.
