Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened a 91-meter pedestrian and bicycle bridge on Sheikh Rashid Street, connecting the bustling areas of Al Mankhool and Al Jafiliya.
Serving an estimated 22,000 people daily, the newly inaugurated bridge aims to enhance road safety and promote sustainable transport options in the city.
Drawing inspiration from Dubai’s rich maritime heritage, the bridge’s design incorporates elements reminiscent of diving and commercial vessels, seamlessly blending tradition with modern infrastructure.
The bridge is also equipped with elevators and staircases on both sides, ensuring accessibility for people of determination and the general public.
