The World Police Summit Awards 2025 concluded with a grand ceremony in Dubai, celebrating exceptional achievements in global policing, including standout performances from law enforcement agencies in India and Pakistan.
Hosted by Dubai Police, the prestigious event gathered top police leaders and security professionals from across the world, with Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, leading the ceremony. He commended the unwavering dedication of police officers and institutions striving for safety and security worldwide.
This year’s awardees included SDPO Sargodha City Police Station from Pakistan, recognized for ‘Excellence in Criminal Investigation,’ and Hyderabad Police from India, awarded for ‘Excellence in Anti-Narcotics’ through their Narcotics Control Wing Project. The Fujairah Police’s Lt Col Dr Mariam Darwish Al Hashmi from the UAE was also honored as the ‘Most Inspirational Female Officer.’
Other notable winners spanned multiple regions, reflecting the global nature of the summit. Hong Kong Police Force received the ‘Best Innovation in Policing and Security’ award for their ‘Rescue’ project, while Italy’s Postal Police Cybersecurity Unit was celebrated for ‘Excellence in Police Customer Service’ with its ‘Hacker Tracking’ initiative.
The event also spotlighted groundbreaking achievements in emerging fields, including the US-based CATT Labs, which secured the ‘Start-Up Innovation Award,’ and Mexico’s Secretariat of Public Safety, Chihuahua State, which won ‘Best Use of AI in Policing’ for its Sentinela Security Platform.
The awards were presented by a distinguished panel, including Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Kreshan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector, and Major General Harib Muhammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for the Criminal Investigation Sector.
