Authorities in Abu Dhabi have ordered the immediate closure of three food outlets—two in the capital and one in Al Ain—following repeated violations of the emirate’s strict food safety regulations.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) confirmed the closures of Cettinad Multi Cuisine and Restaurant (CN-1070357) in Abu Dhabi, Nasayem Al Nil Pastries & Sweets (CN-4472448) in Al Jimi, Al Ain, and Diamond City Supermarket (CN-1247285) in Musaffah. The decision was made under Law No. 2 of 2008, which governs food safety in the emirate.
According to ADAFSA, the establishments were found to have repeatedly failed to meet food safety standards and ignored multiple warnings, posing a serious risk to public health. The closures were enacted as a precautionary move to protect consumers.
The authority emphasized that these administrative shutdowns will remain in effect until all violations are rectified and the establishments demonstrate full compliance with health and safety requirements.
“These closures are part of our ongoing inspection campaigns designed to uphold the highest food safety standards and to proactively safeguard the health of all residents,” ADAFSA stated.
The public is encouraged to report any food-related concerns by calling Abu Dhabi’s toll-free number 800555, helping inspectors respond swiftly and ensure the integrity of the food supply.
