Dubai’s public parking operator, Parkin, has rolled out paid parking in more areas—this time in the bustling Mirdif district. Beginning Monday, May 26, two newly designated zones—251C for on-street parking and 251D for off-street parking—have been activated under the city’s updated tariff system, which varies between peak and off-peak hours.
Zone 251C now charges AED 2 per hour during off-peak times and AED 4 per hour during peak periods. For longer stays, the cost can reach AED 11 for four hours off-peak and AED 16 during peak hours. Meanwhile, 251D, the off-street parking area, applies a fixed rate of AED 2 per hour off-peak and AED 4 per hour during peak, with a 24-hour parking option available for AED 20.
These adjustments are part of a broader effort to manage traffic congestion and improve accessibility in high-demand areas. As a reminder, paid public parking hours in Dubai run from 8 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday. Parking remains free on Sundays and official holidays.
Peak hours have been defined as 8–10 AM and 4–8 PM, while off-peak stretches from 10 AM to 4 PM and 8–10 PM.
In a separate update, Parkin has also expanded its parking subscription service across all its managed areas. This service is particularly beneficial for residents in high-density zones like Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Hills, and communities under Wasl Real Estate such as Karama, Al Qusais, and Al Kifaf—helping regular parkers avoid daily payment hassles.
