Emirates has designated Bahrain as the first destination in its network to be exclusively served by its cutting-edge Airbus A350, marking a significant step in its fleet modernization. The milestone was sealed on June 2 with the arrival of the airline’s third A350 at Bahrain International Airport, completing the aircraft’s full deployment on all Emirates flights to the Kingdom.
This move is part of Emirates’ broader plan to enhance its passenger experience and expand its next-generation aircraft operations. The A350, already flying to cities like Amman, Edinburgh, Mumbai, and Colombo, is set to reach 17 destinations by the end of 2025.
Flight EK835 left Dubai at 2:00 AM and landed in Bahrain 15 minutes later, while the return leg, EK836, departed Bahrain at 3:40 AM and arrived in Dubai just after 6:00 AM. Emirates described this development as a strategic part of its ‘Fly Better’ promise, aimed at offering travelers a more refined and technologically advanced journey.
The A350’s three-class layout includes 32 lie-flat Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy seats. Travelers can also enjoy faster Wi-Fi, an upgraded in-flight entertainment system, roomier cabin design, and quieter, more comfortable interiors.
Emirates emphasized that this move reflects the airline’s enduring commitment to Bahrain and its continued investment in raising service standards in the region.
