UAE warns against fake online forms for study abroad exemptions

The UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) has raised an urgent warning about unofficial online links and forms falsely claiming to offer exemption from the official requirements for studying abroad.

In a statement issued through its verified digital platforms, the ministry made it clear that it has not released or authorized any such links. “Any content circulating outside of our official website, social media accounts, or mobile application should be considered unreliable,” the MOHESR emphasized.

The alert comes amid a rise in suspicious websites and digital platforms urging students and their families to share personal and academic details, under the false pretense of fast-tracking procedures or securing special exemptions.

The ministry cautioned that engaging with these unofficial forms poses serious security and data privacy risks. Students were strongly advised to rely solely on MOHESR’s official channels for any application or information regarding overseas study programs.
