Emirates named among world’s top 10 airlines for 2025, Skytrax reveals

Dubai’s flagship airline, Emirates, has once again earned its place among the world’s aviation elite, securing the fourth spot in the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards released on Tuesday.

The rankings, announced during the prestigious Paris Air Show, recognized Qatar Airways as the world’s best airline for the ninth consecutive year, followed by Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. Emirates stood out for its luxurious first-class suites, exceptional inflight dining, and industry-leading ICE entertainment system—helping it maintain its stronghold in global air travel.

The Skytrax survey, which gathered input from passengers across more than 100 nationalities and assessed 325 airlines between September 2024 and May 2025, praised Emirates’ expansive global network and service consistency. The airline also received accolades for Best In-flight Entertainment and was noted among the top performers in onboard culinary excellence.

Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) rounded out the top five, celebrated for its meticulous service and clean, punctual flights.

The 2025 rankings highlighted a continued dominance by Asian and Middle Eastern carriers, underscoring their commitment to luxury, innovation, and overall passenger satisfaction. In contrast, North American carriers trailed behind, with Delta Air Lines ranking highest among them at 22nd place.
