UAE hails Israel-Iran ceasefire, urges continued push for peace and stability

The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel, describing it as a promising move toward easing tensions in the region and restoring stability.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE praised the diplomatic efforts that led to the truce, specifically acknowledging the role of U.S. President Donald Trump and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, in helping broker the agreement.

The ministry emphasized that maintaining peace requires “effective coordination” to avoid renewed violence and reduce the impact of recent hostilities on regional security and humanitarian conditions.

Reiterating its long-standing position, the UAE called for restraint and a strong commitment to political dialogue, warning that any further conflict would only stall development and endanger lives across the region.

The UAE also underscored its readiness to collaborate with international partners to promote peace and ensure sustainable stability not just in the Middle East, but globally.
