Over 3.4 million travelers expected at Dubai International from June 27 to July 9

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is preparing for one of its busiest stretches of the year, as more than 3.4 million passengers are projected to pass through its terminals from June 27 to July 9, 2025.

Daily traffic is expected to exceed 265,000 travelers, with July 5 anticipated to be the single busiest day, especially for outbound and connecting flights. In response, Dubai Airports has rolled out a comprehensive summer readiness plan to ensure smooth and secure travel despite increased volume.

“While the wider regional situation has led to some delays and cancellations across the network, the oneDXB community has been working around the clock to support guests, provide welfare, and maintain service continuity,” Dubai Airports said in a statement.

The airport is leveraging a real-time monitoring system to help allocate manpower and resources efficiently. Coordination with authorities and airline partners remains ongoing, with safety and service delivery as top priorities.

Travelers are encouraged to arrive no more than three hours ahead of their flight, check in online where possible, and make use of DXB’s smart gates and self-service kiosks. For added convenience, DUBZ offers home check-in and baggage services.

Special assistance is available for People of Determination, including accessibility support and discreet aid for those wearing Sunflower Lanyards. Guests can also enjoy the airport’s restaurants, shopping outlets, and lounges before boarding.
