Humidity and cloud cover expected to rise across the UAE this weekend

Residents in the UAE are in for a warm and sticky weekend, as weather authorities warn of high humidity levels combined with partly cloudy skies across parts of the country.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), clouds are forecast to develop over the eastern regions, with a chance they may grow into convective formations by the afternoon—potentially bringing some isolated rain.

The NCM added that the cloudy conditions are likely to persist throughout the weekend, particularly in the eastern areas, where lower-lying clouds may be more visible.

Daytime temperatures are expected to hover between 37°C and 42°C, while nighttime lows will range from 25°C to 30°C. Winds will generally be light to moderate, with speeds peaking at around 35 km/h.
