Sharjah Airport braces for over 800,000 passengers in first half of July

Sharjah Airport is gearing up for a surge in travel this summer, with more than 800,000 passengers expected to pass through its terminals from July 1 to 15, 2025.

To accommodate the peak season, the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) has rolled out a comprehensive plan in collaboration with key partners to ensure operations run smoothly and passengers enjoy a seamless travel experience.

Operational teams and customer service personnel have been working around the clock to guide travelers and assist them in using the airport’s smart services and digital systems. These efforts are part of the airport’s strategy to enhance efficiency and provide comfort during the busy travel period.

Authorities also confirmed that upgrades to logistics, health protocols, and security procedures are in place to meet the fast-evolving demands of the aviation industry.

As part of the advisory, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled flights and to check with their airlines for any updates in flight schedules.

Sharjah Airport reiterated its dedication to maintaining high service and safety standards throughout the season, reinforcing its role as a leading travel hub in the region.
