Motorists in the UAE will see higher fuel costs starting July 1, as the country adjusts prices in response to recent global oil market volatility.
The July hike follows a month of stable rates in June, which remained unchanged from May. The latest increase reflects pressure from a recent surge in global oil prices, triggered by escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, and subsequent US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites earlier in June.
Under the new rates, Super 98 petrol is priced at Dh2.70 per litre, up from Dh2.58. Special 95 rises to Dh2.58 from Dh2.47, while E-Plus 91 now costs Dh2.51 per litre, compared to Dh2.39 in June. Diesel prices have also jumped to Dh2.63 per litre from the previous Dh2.45.
The updated prices, which take effect on July 1, are part of the UAE’s monthly fuel price adjustments tied to global crude market trends.
