A modest drop in temperatures is expected across parts of the UAE today, particularly along the western and coastal regions, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
Weather conditions will remain generally fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds developing over the eastern coast. Temperatures in Dubai are forecast to range between 30°C and 39°C, while Abu Dhabi may see a slightly warmer peak of 40°C, with a low of 29°C. Sharjah will hover between 30°C and 39°C.
The hottest areas on Tuesday were Hamim and Mezaira in Al Dhafra, where temperatures soared to 49.3°C in the afternoon.
Humidity is expected to creep in by Wednesday night into Thursday morning, increasing the chance of fog or mist, especially in coastal and internal regions.
Winds will shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, picking up speed westward. These gusts—reaching up to 40 kmph—may kick up dust and sand, leading to reduced visibility in open areas.
Sea conditions are expected to stay slight to moderate but may turn rough westward in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will remain calm.
