Dubai Basketball has secured a major coup with the signing of Dzanan Musa, a two-time EuroLeague champion and one of Europe’s premier shooting guards. The Bosnian star will suit up for the team beginning the 2025/26 season on a three-year contract, following a title-winning stint with European powerhouse Real Madrid.
At just 26 years old, Musa brings a wealth of international experience and star power to the UAE. He previously played two seasons in the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets, who drafted him 29th overall in 2018. During his time in the league, he shared the court with top-tier talents like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant and logged impressive numbers in the G League, where he averaged 19.5 points per game.
“Joining Dubai Basketball is an incredible opportunity and a challenge I’m fully prepared to take on,” Musa said. “Coming off a championship season in Spain, I feel confident in what I can bring to the court, and I’m excited to help this team create history in both the EuroLeague and ABA League.”
He added, “Now being here in Dubai ready to write a new chapter, it’s truly special. I’m looking forward to supporting the growing basketball community here, connecting with our fans, and making them proud.”
