Pakistani taxi driver in Dubai praised for heartwarming gesture to Chinese tourist

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recognized Pakistani taxi driver Falak Niaz Khan for his heartfelt display of hospitality that left a lasting impression on a tourist from China.

A video shared by the RTA shows Khan receiving a certificate of appreciation from Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the RTA. The honor followed a viral moment that showcased Khan’s exceptional kindness.

In the clip, Khan greets the Chinese woman in Mandarin, assists her with her luggage, and shares a lighthearted exchange inside the cab. Visibly touched, the tourist took a selfie with Khan and asked about his nationality. At the end of the ride, Khan again stepped out to help her with her bags, sending her off with another polite farewell in Mandarin.

The RTA commended Khan’s actions as a true reflection of the warmth and multicultural spirit that Dubai offers to visitors.
