A 19-year-old Filipina volunteer received a heartfelt birthday surprise from the Positive Spirit Council of the Dubai Police during the closing ceremony of the “Celebrating Eid Together” sports event held last Saturday at the outdoor court in Satwa.
Fathima Agum, a longtime volunteer since 2019, was presented with an iPhone 16 Pro Max by the Council, led by Ms. Fathima Buhjeer. The surprise gift was given in recognition of Agum’s continued service and dedication as a photographer in various community initiatives organized by the Positive Spirit Council.
Beyond her volunteer work, Agum also actively represents Dubai Police as an athlete, playing in badminton, padel, and cycling.
The gesture reflects the Council’s mission of fostering “happy residential neighbourhoods, enhancing social harmony, and improving quality of life” — values embodied by Agum’s years of selfless commitment.
