The UAE is heading into another stretch of scorching days as the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warns of intense heat across the country, particularly in inland areas where temperatures are forecast to spike between 42°C and 46°C.
Even coastal areas and islands aren’t spared, with highs expected to hit between 38°C and 42°C. Mountainous regions will be slightly cooler, hovering around 35°C to 39°C.
The NCM reports that skies will generally remain clear to partly cloudy, with some cloud buildup expected in eastern parts of the country. Winds will range from light to moderate, coming from the southwest to northwest at 10 to 25 km/h, and may pick up to 35 km/h during the day.
Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to stay calm, ensuring smooth conditions for maritime activities.
Authorities have urged residents to take extra precautions, stay indoors during peak heat hours, drink plenty of fluids, and avoid direct sun exposure to prevent heat-related illnesses.
