Authorities in Abu Dhabi have ordered the immediate closure of Tasif Restaurant in Al Shahama due to serious breaches of food safety regulations.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) announced the administrative shutdown on Thursday, April 17, citing violations of Law No. 2 of 2008 on food safety and related legislation.
According to the agency, the restaurant, operating under trade license CN-2836859, was found engaging in practices that posed “a significant risk to public health.”
This closure follows a similar case last week, where Strong Tea Cafeteria in Mohamed Bin Zayed City was shut down for repeated violations, including pest infestations and poor hygiene. Despite previous fines and warnings, the cafeteria failed to meet the required safety standards.
ADAFSA continues to monitor food establishments across the emirate to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
