Beloved Filipino street food concept ‘Meryenda’ opens at Flayva, Al Ghurair Centre

Meryenda, the popular Filipino pop-up known for bringing the nostalgic flavors of traditional Filipino street snacks to Dubai’s markets and festivals, has officially opened a new branch inside Flayva Food Hall at Al Ghurair Centre in Deira. The opening took place on April 26, 2025.

Known for serving favorites like Pinoy pancakes, halo-halo, samalamig, and barbecue skewers, Meryenda has built a strong following through its appearances at events such as the BurJuman Street Food Festival and Winter Night Market. Its new location at Flayva offers fans a fresh spot to enjoy these beloved merienda treats.

Flayva Food Hall, located on the ground floor of Al Ghurair Centre, features a variety of street food concepts, bringing together flavors from around the world, including Filipino cuisine.

The launch at Flayva marks an exciting new chapter for Meryenda as it continues to expand its presence in Dubai’s food scene.
